It hurts so much! I am sorry, it’s just unbearable. I know you all hurt so much, looking forward to this night for last 13 years, so much fighting and excitement doesn’t justify an ending like that. But, more often than not, Football the most beautiful game is ridiculously unfair.

We can easily point out Karius cost us the game and probably that’s factually true. But he is human at the end of the day, and unfortunately yesterday happened to be his unlucky day over last 6 months. Sad. Sorry Karius. I know how alone you are right now. I hope God give you the strength to endure this and come back stronger.

And Mo, I am so sorry. This isn’t fair, but in life few things are. I sincerely hope you play the World Cup this year, I sincerely wish you go on and become one of the greats of the game irrespective of whether you play at Anfield for next 5 years or 1. You deserve this.

It hurts so bad to know Mane stood tall and showed no emotions at the end, but inside he must have been dying. What a fighter!!! It hurts to know with such a defensive solidity we showed yesterday, we still came short. That hadn’t happened at all for a few years now, almost zero defensive errors in a game of this magnitude(except that of goalkeeper). But, it just wan’t supposed to be Liverpool’s day. Lovren crying inconsolably at the end of the game summed it up.

And finally Jurgen, whatever people say about you, you are the best manager I have seen, not only for Liverpool, for anyone. You are personally an inspiration and another reason supporting this club is easier. I feel bad for how you are mocked right now for losing the 6 finals. It’s just tragic. It’s just sad to see an amazing person and coach suffer like that.

We’ll be fine eventually. Today will be tough, but tomorrow hopefully would be easier. Things would be okay. Chin up, lads.

Being a Liverpool fan teaches you a lot of things, to be patient, to appreciate smaller things in life, never to show your back to family and friends, and to stay as a family through hardships and good times. This club embodies these values through its players, managers and fans irrespective of the seasons, the standings, the kind of football they play. That’s why we will never have players like Ramos in our squad ever. That’s why we don’t change our managers every other season. Being Liverpool fan isn’t particularly hard for that reason, it just asks you to be a better person every day.

Now, we just need to show exactly that. We just need to show how we are good people, how we have a good heart and how we endure tough times like this. We stand by this club irrespective of the results, we stand by the players who sometimes fail, in the greatest of matches. We stand by our anthem,

You’ll never walk alone!
